According to the Chinese Leaker, Ice
universe, the Samsung Galaxy S9 / S9 Plus is going to be a radical
smartphone. This leaker mysteriously tweeted that “back of the Galaxy S9
will change a lot”. Well, there is no doubt that the same leaker has a
strong Samsung record and had previously leaked the first real-world
photos of Samsung Galaxy S8 / S8 Plus.
Not only this, the Evan Blass, another
leaker has revealed the code names for the flagship. According to him,
the Samsung Galaxy S9 is Star 1 and the S9 Plus is Star 2. According to
him, the S9 and S9 Plus would be more superior to the previous flagship
from Samsung – S8 / S8 Plus.
1: The Size
As far as the display sizes of the
phones are concerned, it is similar to the last flagship’s sizes. The
display size of the Samsung Galaxy S9 is going to be 5.8”, while the S9
Plus is going to have the bigger display size of 6.2”.
2: The RAM
According to the leaks for the RAM, the
Samsung Galaxy S9 is going to have 4GB and for the Samsung Galaxy S9
Plus is going to have 6GB.
3: Cameras
In addition to the extra RAM, the phones
have got the addition of cameras as well. The bigger exclusive phone
has got the vertical dual camera, making it a premium and more powerful
model. While the smaller phone has got only single camera lens. This
strategy is really similar to what Apple has covered with its iPhones.
4: The Fingerprint Sensor
According to the Evan leaks, the
fingerprint sensor has got the good placement that is just below the
vertical cameras of Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus and the single camera lens of
Samsung Galaxy S9. That is where the S9 / S9 Plus has got an edge.
5: Headphone Jack
Here’s a good news for all the Samsung
customers as Headphone jack in the Samsung Galaxy S9/S9 Plus is still
alive. Thanks to the company that it has actually listened to the
customers and not followed the trend that Apple has set.
6: Samsung DeX
Some improvements have been made to the
DeX that is also coming with the launch of Samsung Galaxy S9/S9 Plus.
The new DeX would be backward compatible, allowing the phone to go flat.
Not only this, the improvements also allow the phone to be used as the
virtual keyboard or mouse.
7: Software
Samsung has focused a lot on Software
for the upcoming flagship. The S9 and S9 Plus is going to have the
latest OS called Samsung Galaxy Ai UX based on Android Oreo 8.0 that means the phones are going to have enhanced Ai power and better performance.
Aside from these rumors, we have also
some words from the Samsung Company as well. An anonymous Samsung guy
said that Samsung S9 and S9 Plus would not get any innovative features
as focusing on the market.
But he added that we are focusing on
completing the S8 hardware and UI. This means that Samsung Galaxy S9 /
S9 Plus would almost be the same phones as S8/S8 Plus with the advanced
camera and new Software.
